Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday filed his reply in the Supreme Court on a notice issued to him after a contempt case by BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi for his remarks on the Rafale verdict.
BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi, commenting on the Kathua rape, said, “They should not have protested. They should have ideally not commented until an investigation was conducted. The Jammu and Kashmir police conducted a thorough investigation and have arrested the accused.”
MoS Jeetendra Singh targeted the political lineage of Gandhi, saying the Congress Party failed to resolve the issue even as it stayed in power for a long time since independence.
