Airtel tweeted, "We are sorry for the inconvenience. This problem is happening due to temporary connectivity interruption and will be fixed within about an hour. Please restart your mobile after this period."

Users' Anger On Social Media

After the network went down, many users expressed their anger on social media. One user wrote, "Airtel's internet is down in Bangalore today. Shouldn't the company have informed the users in advance?"

Another user complained, "Airtel's postpaid service is down for the last 6 hours. Calls are not being received and the internet is also not working. There is no response from customer care. TRAI should take immediate action on this."
