ChatGPT Is Glitching Again: Thousands of users are upset, know why this happens?

OpenAI’s popular AI tool ChatGPT is down again in the US, causing problems for thousands of users. So far, more than 3400 complaints have been registered on Down Detector, especially related to chat history and responses.

New Delhi: OpenAI's popular AI chatbot ChatGPT is once again facing technical problems. This time, this outage has come to the fore in the US, where more than 3400 users have complained about it not working. According to the information, users are not only facing problems in opening the chat history, but they are also repeatedly seeing unusual error messages.

According to Down Detector, a website tracking web and app, 82% of users have reported problems related to the chat function, while 12% of users had trouble accessing the website. Apart from this, 6% of users have reported problems with the app. This outage started late Wednesday night and gradually spread to different parts of America.

According to the reports on Down Detector, most users say that the chat history is not opening, and ChatGPT is failing to respond.

However, this outage is limited to America. No widespread outage has been reported from other countries, including India.

This is not the first time ChatGPT has gone down. Last week, users complained about the website being slow, chat history disappearing, and getting the wrong responses. Even then, thousands of users had sent reports on Down Detector. OpenAI had restored the service within a few hours.

Why does this happen?  

AI chatbots like ChatGPT can go down in situations like excessive server load, software updates, or cyberattacks. OpenAI often identifies these problems and tries to resolve them as soon as possible. However, there has been no official response from the company this time.

• Use alternative tools for important work
• Waiting for the company's response

There is no statement from OpenAI on this outage now. It is being seen whether this problem is the result of a major technical fault or a matter of normal server traffic.
