New Delhi: Samsung's next-generation foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, has surfaced in leaked renders just weeks before the company's Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22 in London.
The images hint at a noticeable design refresh, including a wider cover display, lighter chassis and new colour options.
Wider Design, New Colour Options
According to the leaked renders, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 could arrive in Cream, Graphite and Lavender colourways, with a Pistachio variant reportedly available exclusively through Samsung's online store.
The biggest design change appears to be a shorter and wider form factor, departing from the taller profile of previous Galaxy Z Fold models. The wider cover display is expected to offer a more conventional smartphone experience, while the unfolded screen could provide a tablet-like workspace.

Leaks suggest the foldable may feature:
5.5-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display
7.6-inch QHD+ inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor

The device is also tipped to weigh around 200-201 grams, making it lighter than its predecessor.
Camera Changes
The leaked renders indicate a redesigned rear camera module that appears to house two camera sensors, unlike the triple-camera setup seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Samsung has not confirmed the final camera specifications.
Galaxy Z Flip8
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip8 is expected to launch in Cream, Graphite, and Pink colour options, while a Mint variant is also tipped to be available exclusively through Samsung's online store. In terms of design, the foldable appears to retain a look similar to the current Galaxy Z Flip7. The smartphone is rumoured to be powered by Samsung's Exynos 2600 chipset in select markets, weigh around 180 grams, and pack a 4,300mAh battery.
Galaxy Watch Ultra2, Watch9
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is expected to arrive in a single 47mm size and will reportedly be offered in two colour options.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch9 is tipped to launch in 40mm and 44mm variants. Leaked renders suggest it will be available in Cream, Graphite, and Green finishes.
According to recent leaks, Samsung is also expected to increase the prices of its upcoming foldables and smartwatches compared to the previous generation. However, the company has not officially confirmed any specifications, colour options or pricing details.
Galaxy Unpacked on July 22
Samsung has confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 22 in London. Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the company is widely expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Watch 9, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
