New Delhi: Donald Trump and Elon Musk are currently the two most popular and powerful personalities in the world. One is the king of the world of politics, while the other is at the pinnacle of technology and business. The names of both are enough to remain in the headlines. But when these two giants come face to face, it is not just a personal clash, but its effect spreads to America's politics, global economy and technology policies.

Recently, the growing dispute between these two has become the subject of a new debate in America and this conflict is no longer just a difference of opinion but has turned into a political and business conflict.

Senior journalist Manoj Tibrewal Aakash done a deep analysis in his show 'The MTA Speaks'. Donald Trump is the President of America, while Elon Musk is counted among the richest people in the world and is the head of technology companies like Tesla, SpaceX, Neura link, Starlink and X. This sudden public conflict between these two, who were once allies of each other, has now taken a sharp form.

How The Dispute Begins

This dispute begins with Trump's much-discussed and recently passed 'One Big Beautiful Bill' by the Senate. This bill is considered to be the backbone of Trump's economic policies, in which tax exemptions of an estimated $ 4.5 trillion have been given. This includes increasing the tax credit for children from $2,000 to $2,200, as well as temporary tax exemptions on tips, overtime and auto loans. An additional relief of $6,000 has been given to the elderly, especially to those whose annual income is less than $75,000. This bill also reiterates Trump's old commitment in which he had talked about eliminating the tax on Social Security.

Elon Musk reacted sharply to this bill and termed it 'madness' and announced that if this bill is passed, he himself will form a new political party. Musk alleged that this bill is going to benefit the rich and powerful companies more and the middle class and low income group will not get any real relief from it.

Trump's Attack On Musk

Donald Trump also did not remain silent on this opposition of Musk. He personally attacked Musk and even called him "unreliable" and "deceitful". Trump said that when Musk's companies were in trouble and needed government subsidy, he helped at a personal level, but now Musk is showing 'ungratefulness'. Trump alleged that Elon Musk's success is a result of government subsidies and if these subsidies are stopped, Musk will have to close his company and return to South Africa, where he was born.

Trump also warned that the investigation of the Department of Government Enterprises will be resumed. This is the same department whose responsibility for some technical and innovation projects was given to Musk during the Trump government. Now Trump is raising questions on the functioning of the same department and the role of Musk.

Commotion In American Political Corridors

This stance of Trump has created a sensation in American political corridors. Many people are seeing it as Trump's personal enmity, while some are considering it a race for power and technological control. Elon Musk, who is originally from South Africa and later came to America via Canada, has today become a major pillar of America's economic power. Trump's comment, in which he talked about 'sending back' Musk, is being seen as a racial and nationalist statement in many circles.

It is also worth noting that once Trump and Musk were allies of each other. In 2017, Trump included Musk in his business advisory council. Musk disagreed with Trump's policies many times, but he also acknowledged that maintaining dialogue with the government is necessary from a business point of view. At that time, a business cooperation and strategic relationship was established between the two. Musk also supported Trump's social media policy and ideas of 'free speech', especially when Trump was banned from Twitter.

When Musk bought Twitter in 2022 and renamed it X, he restored Trump's account. Trump called it a "victory of truth" and praised Musk's independent thinking. But now the same Musk is opposing Trump's major economic policy and Trump sees it as Musk's 'betrayal'.

While Trump was president, SpaceX received billions of dollars in contracts from NASA and the Department of Defense. Musk's companies benefited from government incentives, Trump's tax policy and regulatory reforms benefited Tesla and SpaceX. For all these reasons, the equation between Musk and Trump has changed over time - sometimes allies, sometimes critics.

But now the situation has changed. Trump is president again, while Musk is no longer just a businessman, he has the ability to directly and indirectly influence the world in areas like social media, artificial intelligence, space science and defense technology. He has emerged as a new force that is beyond America. Can challenge the traditional power structure.

Conflict Or Personal Enmity

It would be wrong to call this conflict merely personal enmity. This conflict is a battle between two ideologies - on one side is Trump's agenda of nationalism, economic protectionism and centralized control, and on the other side is Musk's ideal of free market, innovation and "free speech". Trump's 'Make America Great Again' agenda is now clashing with Musk's agenda of technological freedom.

Will Musk Form New Political Party?

Now the important question is whether Musk will actually form a new political party? If this happens, then the politics of the third front in America can get strength, the effect of which can be seen till the upcoming presidential election. On the other hand, if Trump uses his influence to tighten the screws on Musk's companies, then it can become a battle between government intervention and freedom in the technology sector.

The American media, industrialists, technology experts and international analysts are keeping a close eye on this entire controversy. It is clear that both Trump and Musk are not going to give up. This conflict will not end soon. Rather, it may become more intense in the coming months.

But another aspect of this is that political and business equations in America keep changing frequently. If Musk sees business benefits again and Trump needs political support, then both can come together on one platform again. This is the reality of American power structure – friendship and enmity are not permanent here, but are opportunistic.

For now, it is clear that this conflict between Donald Trump and Elon Musk can affect the balance of global politics and business. It will have a huge impact on America's electoral future, technology policy, and media control. It will be interesting to see what happens next – whether this conflict turns into a permanent political division or both the giants forget their old differences and join hands through some deal.
