The Delhi High Court on Wednesday expressed concern over the violence in northeast Delhi, saying that it cannot let another riot like the one in 1984 happen under its watch.
A bench headed by Justice Dipak Misra also asked the body to examine the SIT’s decision to close additional 42 riots- related cases.
A second judge of the Delhi High Court recused to hear senior Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in a case of killing of three Sikhs in West Delhi area of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
