The Karnataka cabinet expansion cum reshuffle has once again deferred to July. Congress High Command warned Chief Minister DK Shivakumar not to entertain lobbying. There are as many as 20 mimisterial berths to be filled.
CM Shubhendu Adhikari stated, “The full Council of Ministers for the nationalist government, elected by the mandate of the people of West Bengal, will be constituted tomorrow.
Of the 23 new ministers, 21 are from the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), while Congress MLAs S Rajesh Kumar (Killiyoor) and P Viswanathan (Melur) mark the first formal inclusion of the Congress in a Tamil Nadu government since 1967.
The cabinet expansion marks a significant moment in Bihar politics, following the NDA’s landslide victory in the state assembly elections, where the alliance secured 202 out of 243 seats.
The upcoming cabinet expansion will include ministers from multiple political parties. Reports indicate that 12 ministers from the BJP, 11 from the JD(U), and two from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) will take oath.
