The special investigating team probing the alleged rape case filed by a law student against Swami Chinmayanand on Tuesday submitted a status report in the Allahabad High Court in a sealed cover.
A day after it was stopped from taking out a march in support of law student, who has accused BJP leader Swami Chinmayanand of rape, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is set to lead a ‘padayatra’ on Gandhi Jayanti in Lucknow on Wednesday.
Former Union minister Swami Chinmayanand, accused of rape by a law student, was arrested on Friday, his counsel said.
