Thilagar Thidal police seized a lorry containing fake currency notes with a face value of Rs 7.62 lakh at Madurai railway station.
The Murshidabad police on Wednesday arrested a Bangladeshi national and a Jharkhand resident and recovered fake Indian currency notes with the face value of Rs 8.03 lakh from them.
Five people were arrested and fake currency notes with face value of Rs 1.63 lakh were seized.
