The medical college CMS office clerk Sudhir Pandey has been arrested in the Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College tragedy that killed more than 70 people.
A FIR has been registered against the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Medical Superintendent of a government-run hospital in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, after 49 children died there in a month.
The Uttar Pradesh STF arrested accused Dr Kafeel Khan from Gorakhpur over the death of nearly 70 children at the BRD Medical College’s Hospital.
An FIR has been registered against nine people, including sacked principal of BRD Medical College, in connection with the deaths of over 70 children, due to alleged lack of oxygen supply, the police said.

“Prime Minister Modi did not tell you that more than 90 babies died in Gorakhpur due to his healthcare policies. His Government has cut healthcare budget and the hospital could not buy oxygen cylinders for the babies,” Rahul said.
Siddharth Nath Singh said, “it’s a clear case of criminal negligence, if someone dies due to disruption in oxygen supply, adding that when Gorakhpur tragedy probe result comes.”
