India reported 18,855 new COVID-19 cases, 20,746 discharges and 163 deaths in last 24 hours, as per Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Friday.
India reported 11,666 new COVID-19 cases, 14,301 discharges and 123 deaths in last 24 hours, informed Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Thursday.
The Centre on Tuesday said that India’s fatality rate due to coronavirus is 2.82 per cent and it is one of the lowest in the world.
Nearly 20 per cent COVID-19 patients have recovered so far in the country, said Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday, while the total cases of coronavirus have soared to 21,393.
