The last conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump took place on April 4, 2020, on the subject of hydroxychloroquine, informed sources over the matter told on Friday.
“President Xi and I will exchange views on a range of issues of bilateral and global importance. We will discuss our respective visions and priorities for national development, particularly in the context of current and future international situation,” Prime Minister said in his departure note.
“There will be a solution soon and I am sure China will make a positive move,” he said.
“India would like to strengthen its relationship with China that was established in the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping in September 2014. Indian would like to strengthen the relations on the basis of the Astana consensus…,” MEA officials spokesperson Gopal Baglay said in a press briefing here.
Taking to Twitter, Rahul wrote, “Why is our Prime Minister silent on China?”
