Jehanabad Police on Tuesday detained Muzammil Imam, the younger brother of, JNU student and one of the coordinators of the Shaheen Bagh protests, Sharjeel Imam.
The Delhi government on Wednesday sought before a court here a month’s time to decide whether to grant sanction to prosecute former JNU students’ union president Kanhaiya Kumar and others in the 2016 JNU sedition case.
Two men, who had claimed responsibility for attack on JNU student leader Umar Khalid, have been detained.
