Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has dissolved the country’s House of Representatives on the recommendation of the cabinet and called for fresh elections in November.
PM Modi congratulated his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe as his ruling coalition won a resounding victory in Sunday’s snap election, securing a two-thirds majority in the Lower House.
