After four days of violence in northeast Delhi, some areas such as Maujpur and Babarpur have begun to show signs of normalcy.
Security personnel on Friday remained deployed in several parts of violence-affected North-East Delhi, including Khajoori Khaas, Dayalpur, Jafrabad, Gokulpuri and Bhajanpura among others.
The entry and exit gates of Jaffrabad and Maujpur – Babarpur stations opened after being closed for awhile on Wednesday for security reasons following the ongoing protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019.
