National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC), on Saturday, became the first company in India to cross 40 million tonnes (MT) of Iron Ore Production in a year, according to a release by the Ministry of Steel on Saturday.
It is preposterous to note as to why a Maharatna and a Navratna Government Companies, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) and National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) do not have a full time Director Personnel, when the prices of Iron ore and Steel are at an all-time high.
