At least three terrorists allegedly from Pakistan were neutralised by a joint team of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Unisoo of Handwara.
Two security personnel were declared dead after an encounter with terrorists in the Hajin area of Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
The terrorist, identified as Shahbaz Mir, was arrested during an ambush laid by the Special Operation Group (SOG) Sumbal and 13 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Army at Markundal in Pushwari.
A troop of 90 Battalion CRPF, SOG and Rashtriya Rifles has recovered dead bodies of three terrorists, including Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Junaid Matto, killed in an encounter that happened a day before between security forces and militants in the Arwani village of south Kashmir’s Bijbehara area.
