Shivpal Yadav, who formed his own party Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohiya) by breaking away from the Samajwadi Party (SP) on Tuesday announced he is ready to join hands with his estranged nephew Akhilesh Yadav for the next Uttar Pradesh elections.
“I am upset myself, where should I go?” This was Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav reaction today on the formation of the Samajwadi Secular Morcha by his disgruntled uncle Shivpal Yadav.
“I will not campaign for any Congress candidate. Rest if Neta ji (Mulayam Singh) asks me to extend my support to Samajwadi candidate fighting against Congress leaders, then I will follow his orders,” said Shivpal.
Shivpal Yadav after filing nomination from his seat, Jaswant Nagar, on the SP symbol, said they would be waiting for the results on March 11 and after that, they will form a new party.
