Shreyas Iyer the Indian ODI vice-captain was hospitalised after internal bleeding caused by rib injury during a match. He had been in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a Sydney hospital for the past two days.
During fielding Shreyas pulled off a catch while sprinting back from backward point to remove Alex Carey, but while catching it, he got his left rib cage injured. He was rushed to the hospital and later moved to ICU.
