The central leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday stepped in and cracked the whip against MLA Surendra Singh over his statements regarding the firing incident in Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh.
Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party Chief Swatantra Dev Singh on Sunday summoned party MLA Surendra Singh over his statements in connection with Ballia incident, in which a local BJP leader allegedly shot dead a man called for a meeting over allotment of shops under government quota.
