Unique Identification Authority of India has asserted that schools cannot refuse admission to students for lack of Aadhaar, and termed denial on such grounds as “invalid”.
The government must slap penalty on anyone using Aadhaar data for purposes other than public services, whistle-blower Edward Snowden has said.
In a statement, the UIDAI said that the said website does not belong to it in any manner whatsoever.
