Water has entered the population in Aligarh, Bareilly, Hathras, Mathura and many other districts.
The Ganges water has also reached many villages in Sakaldiha tehsil, making the situation worse. The administration has started special monitoring and preparedness in these areas. Health department teams have been deployed to prevent any spread of diseases.
