The Delhi Patiala House Court on Saturday dismissed the petition of convict Vinay Sharma, 2012 Delhi gangrape and murder case, seeking direction to provide high-level medical treatment to him.
A Delhi court on Saturday reserved its order on the application filed by one of the death row convicts, Vinay Sharma, in the Nirbhaya gangrape and murder case, claiming insanity and seeking high-level medical treatment.
Vinay Sharma, one of the four death row convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gang-rape and murder case, attempted to hurt himself by banging his head against a wall in his cell on February 16, a Tihar Jail official said.
