Indian cricketers on Thursday extended condolences to the families affected in the Vizag gas leak incident.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday said that an ex gratia of Rs 1 crore each will be given to the families of the deceased in the gas leak incident in Visakhapatnam.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday described the gas leak at a chemical plant in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam as “disturbing” and said the central government is closely monitoring the situation.
11 persons died after chemical gas leakage here at LG Polymers industry in RR Venkatapuram village on Thursday, said Tirupathi Rao, District Medical & Health Officer (DMHO).
