5 IAS Officers Transferred in Uttar Pradesh, Check the Complete List

Uttar Pradesh government has announced a significant IAS reshuffle, assigning new responsibilities to senior officers. The administrative changes aim to improve governance, strengthen development planning, and boost efficiency across key departments of the state.

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has carried out an important administrative reshuffle involving several IAS officers.  According to the official transfer order, Rajesh Kumar, presently posted as In-charge Chief Development Officer (CDO), Chitrakoot, has been appointed as Additional Chief Executive Officer in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.

Devi Prasad Pal, Deputy Secretary at the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Prayagraj, has now been entrusted with the responsibility of Chief Development Officer, Chitrakoot. This move is expected to strengthen development planning and implementation in the district.

Senior IAS officer Prerna Sharma, who was serving as Special Secretary, Horticulture and Food Processing Department, has been given an expanded role. She will now also serve as Special Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, along with the additional charge of Additional Chief Executive Officer, Invest UP.

In another key change, T.K. Shibu, Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch, has been assigned additional charge as Special Secretary, Horticulture and Food Processing Department, and Head of the Food Processing Department, Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Devendra Kumar Singh Kushwaha, Special Secretary, Silk Department, Uttar Pradesh, has been given the additional responsibility of Director, Silk, Uttar Pradesh, along with his current post.

These transfers reflect the state government’s ongoing efforts to enhance administrative efficiency, ensure better coordination between departments, and accelerate development initiatives across Uttar Pradesh.
