Lucknow: Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has inaugurated his new residence and party office, 'PDA Bhawan,' in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. It is not just a building but will emerge as a strong center of the party's election strategies in Purvanchal.
This strategic initiative of SP before the 2027 assembly elections clearly indicates that the party is now seriously engaged in strengthening the old strongholds again. According to the Dynamite News correspondent, this 'PDA Bhawan' has been constructed on about 1 hectare of land in the Anwarganj area on the Azamgarh-Faizabad highway.
Along with a residential complex, a modern training center is also being prepared for the training of workers. Its purpose is to make SP workers proficient in election management, publicity policy, and organization skills for the upcoming elections.
Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the BJP and the Yogi government from the stage on the occasion of this inauguration. He said, “BJP's party office is multi-storied, but this 'PDA Bhawan' of Samajwadi Party shows the height of thought and dedication.
This time BJP's account will not even open in Azamgarh.” He also reminded that the relationship between Azamgarh and socialism is historical. He said that the expressway here was built during the tenure of the Samajwadi government, which is an example of development even today.
In his speech, Akhilesh laid special emphasis on the unity of the people of "PDA," i.e., the "backward, dalit, and minority" class. Referring to the Etawah Kathavachak incident, he said that when the people of PDA went to a Katha program, they were mistreated. It is clear from this that now is the time for unity of the PDA, and this unity will become the key to power.
Akhilesh Yadav also took a dig at expensive storytellers and said, "Today's big storytellers have a budget of crores, but the people of PDA narrate the story with simplicity. That is why this office has also been named 'PDA Bhawan,' so that this name reflects our goal and commitment towards the society."
Taking a dig at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he called him 'outgoing CM' and said that now the public is fed up with him. MLAs are facing the anger of the public, and even MLCs are being locked in rooms and beaten. All this is proof of the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
In Azamgarh, SP currently occupies 10 assembly seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats, and this new base in the form of 'PDA Bhawan' can now strengthen the party further in the coming years. This new office will not only strengthen the organization but will also lay the foundation for the return of SP in Purvanchal.
