Aligarh: In a shocking revelation, Aligarh police have solved a high-profile double murder case, arresting two suspects linked to the killing of a hotel owner and his friend. The police identified the motive as a financial dispute involving unpaid loans. The case details were disclosed by SSP Neeraj Kumar Jadon during a press briefing.
The incident occurred on December 25, when the bodies of two young men were discovered inside a locked rental car near Udaypur village, along the Khereshwar Highway bypass in Khair police station area. The deceased were identified as Bobby, a 32-year-old OYO hotel owner, and his 24-year-old neighbor, Mohit.

The car’s windows were covered with plastic bags, raising suspicion among locals who promptly informed the police. Upon breaking the car windows, authorities found both men shot dead and lying in a pool of blood.
Investigations and postmortem reports revealed that the victims were killed inside the car. Both had multiple gunshot wounds on their necks, fired at close range. Family members confirmed that Bobby and Mohit had left home in the evening but never returned.
SSP Neeraj Kumar Jadon stated that the primary motive behind the murders was a loan dispute. The main suspect, Dharmendra, had borrowed a significant amount from Bobby but had failed to repay it over time. When Bobby pressed him for repayment, Dharmendra allegedly conspired to kill him.

According to police, Dharmendra lured Bobby and Mohit under the pretext of meeting him. The three got into a car, and en route, Dharmendra and his accomplice opened fire, killing both instantly. The suspects then abandoned the car with the bodies and fled the scene.
Police, using surveillance footage and technical evidence, have arrested the two suspects: Dharmendra and his accomplice. Authorities are currently searching for the weapon used in the crime and are continuing the investigation to uncover further details.
This case has sent shockwaves through the Aligarh community, highlighting the dangerous consequences of unresolved financial disputes.
