Sub-district magistrate Pratiksha Tripathi, Pharenda
Maharajganj: Pratiksha Tripathi has officially taken charge as the new Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Pharenda. Soon after assuming office, she held a meeting with her subordinate officers and staff. During the meeting, she instructed them to maintain law and order in the tehsil.
In an exclusive interview with a Dynamite News correspondent, SDM Pratiksha Tripathi said that delivering justice to the common people is her top priority. She added that anyone can meet her at the office regarding their problems. She also made it clear that negligence in work will not be tolerated. Her main areas of focus will be revenue, health, and education.
Pratiksha Tripathi was selected for the post of Range Forest Officer (RFO) in 2020. Before becoming SDM, she served as an RFO in the Forest Department. While working, she continued her studies and preparations.
She is originally from Dugana village in Laharpur tehsil of Sitapur district, Uttar Pradesh. Her father, now retired, was a school teacher. Pratiksha comes from a large family with seven siblings—five sisters and two brothers. She is the youngest daughter in the family.
In the UPPSC PCS 2022 results, Pratiksha secured the 20th rank and was selected for the post of SDM. Her success was celebrated by her family and her entire village. Pratiksha has always been a bright student. She studied from class 1 to 8 at Shri Chandrabhal Saraswati Shishu Mandir, the school where her father was a teacher.
After completing class 8, she did her high school at Jugul Kishore Inter College, Laharpur. She completed her intermediate from Bal Nikunj Inter College, Lucknow. Later, she pursued a BSc degree from Secret Hard Degree College, Sitapur, and topped her batch in 2016.
For scoring the highest marks in graduation, she was awarded a Gold Medal by then Governor Ram Naik. She completed her MSc from Farrukhabad. In 2020, she was selected for the post of RFO.
Later, she cleared the UPPCS exam in 2022 and was selected as an SDM.
