Lucknow: Acquaintances of Dr. Shaheen and Parvez, involved in the Delhi bombings, stayed at a hotel in Charbagh about two months ago. On Saturday, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) raided the hotel and collected numerous evidence.

This revelation has once again raised questions about the security arrangements at hotels in the capital.

This is not the first time that individuals involved in anti-national activities have been confirmed to be staying in these hotels.

Terror and conversion masterminds have repeatedly used hotels as safe havens for their conspiracies.

Recently, the Special Task Force (STF) exposed conversion mastermind Jalaluddin alias Changur and his gang. Following this, the ATS began investigating the case.

The investigation revealed that Changur had been staying at the Star Rooms Hotel in Khurram Nagar for approximately two months, plotting the conversion of girls.

An ATS team raided the hotel and questioned the staff. They also seized the register and CCTV footage, which were later included in the investigation.

Similarly, a few days ago, information was received about a dangerous terrorist staying at the Hostel Hotel in Naka. The ATS raided the hotel and collected evidence.

During the investigation, the staff also confirmed the terrorist's stay at the hotel. Now, information has emerged that some acquaintances of Dr. Shaheen and her brother, Dr. Parvez, residents of Lucknow, who were involved in the Delhi blasts, were staying at the Charbagh hotel. This information has terrified local residents.

Along with the ATS, local intelligence and the Lucknow police are also gathering information about these suspects. The Intelligence Unit is also maintaining vigilance. Officials have ordered all police station in-charges in the city to maintain special surveillance.

Approximately 18 terrorists are lodged in the district jail.

18 terrorists are lodged in the high-security barracks of the district jail in Gosaiganj. Many of these terrorists have been identified as having Pakistani connections. These terrorists were arrested by the NIA, ATS, and STF from various areas.
