Prayagraj: A big news has come out from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, where Iqbal Ahmed, accused in the famous Umesh Pal murder case, has got a big setback from the Allahabad High Court.

The High Court has rejected the criminal appeal filed by Iqbal, claiming himself to be innocent. With this decision, the investigating agencies in the Umesh Pal murder case have got great legal strength, while it is being considered a big setback for the accused Iqbal Ahmed.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, it is being told that Iqbal Ahmed had filed a criminal appeal in Allahabad High Court, in which he had appealed that the allegations against him are false and he should be freed from this case by calling himself innocent.

Iqbal had argued in his petition that he has no direct connection with this murder and he has been wrongly implicated in this case.

Criminal appeal rejected

The court rejected Iqbal's appeal after considering all the facts and evidence. The court admitted that prima facie there are serious allegations against Iqbal Ahmed and in the charge sheet presented by the police, he has been described as the person who did the recce of Umesh Pal.

Recce means inspecting and monitoring the entire area before carrying out the incident, which shows the important role of the person involved in any conspiracy.

Police investigation has revealed that Iqbal Ahmed's role in the conspiracy to murder Umesh Pal has been suspicious. He is accused of giving information about Umesh Pal's activities and hideouts to other accused, which made it easier to execute the murder conspiracy.

On this basis, the investigating agencies had filed a charge sheet against Iqbal, which the court took seriously.

Murder took place on 24 February

On 24 February, witness Umesh Pal in the Rajupal murder case was murdered in broad daylight in Prayagraj. When Umesh Pal was going to his house, the shooters opened fire on him as soon as he got out of the car outside the street.
