Dynamite News has been closely tracking the gambling racket from the start and was the first to report yesterday on the police bust and arrest of the alleged kingpin. During the raid, eyewitnesses said that the accused’s family members protested as soon as police arrived. It is alleged that the father of one suspect misbehaved with officers and even attempted to threaten them. Despite the resistance, police successfully carried out the operation, chasing down and detaining the main accused.
The operation was carried out around 3:10 pm at a shop and residential premises located near Shyam Mandir. Police chased and apprehended one of the suspects during the raid.
Following the crackdown, panic has spread among gambling operators in the area. Police said further investigation is underway to identify and take action against others linked to the network.
