Rahul gandhi addresses a public rally in Amethi
Amethi: Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has made a controversial statement against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah during a visit to Amethi.
Addressing a public gathering, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Prime Minister and Home Minister are “traitors,” criticizing their policies and foreign trips while urging citizens to curb spending.
He said, “Narendra Modi has sold off India’s economic system. He has handed it over to Adani, Ambani, and foreign interests. An economic storm is brewing, and neither the Prime Minister nor his government will be able to protect you. In a few months, people will realize the scale of the crisis.”
Rahul Gandhi also accused Modi of being hypocritical: “The Prime Minister advises citizens not to buy gold, to limit petrol and diesel consumption, and to adopt electric vehicles. Yet he himself embarks on costly foreign tours.”
He further warned of rising prices of essential commodities, including petrol, diesel, cooking gas, pulses, and rice, and cautioned farmers about potential fertilizer shortages. He blamed Modi, Amit Shah, and the RSS for undermining the Constitution and the nation’s economic stability.
