Jagatguru Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das, popularly known as Satua Baba, arrived at the Magh Mela premises in a luxury Land Rover Defender worth over ₹3 crore, leaving both devotees and fellow saints astonished.
Traditionally, events like the Kumbh and Magh Mela are known for showcasing the simplicity, renunciation, and austere lifestyle of saints. However, this year Satua Baba’s black Land Rover Defender, combined with his confident demeanor and dark sunglasses, stood out sharply against the spiritual backdrop.
Reports suggest that this is the most expensive vehicle brought by any saint to the Magh Mela 2026. The SUV’s ex-showroom price is around ₹2.85 crore, and after adding registration, taxes, and other costs, its total value exceeds ₹3 crore.
According to available information, the luxury SUV is registered in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. What makes the vehicle even more distinctive is the inscription on it, which reads “Vishnu Swami Jagatguru Satua Baba Kashi.”
As the vehicle entered the Magh Mela area, crowds gathered to capture photos and videos on their mobile phones, quickly turning the moment viral on social media.

After years of intense spiritual practice, he became associated with the Vishnuswami sect and eventually rose to become the head of the Satua Baba Peeth.
Following the demise of Brahmaleen Yamunacharya Maharaj Satua Baba, he was entrusted with the responsibility of leading the peeth. Today, as Jagatguru Mahamandaleshwar, he enjoys a large following in India and abroad.
