New Delhi: Dharmendra Yadav, senior Member of Parliament said that sensational or misleading reports may briefly go viral, they cannot sustain a media institution in the long run. He was interacting with the young journalists at the Dynamite News Headquarters here in New Delhi on Thursday.
During his visit, the MP also shared his views on the evolving role of digital media in modern journalism.
While interacting with the journalists, Dharmendra Yadav said that today, digital media is rapidly taking the place of mainstream media. In such a scenario, the responsibility of large digital platforms like Dynamite News has increased significantly.

According to him, such organisations must focus on accuracy and credibility in their reporting to maintain the trust of readers and viewers. He emphasised that while sensational or misleading reports may briefly go viral, they cannot sustain a media institution in the long run.
During the interaction, Yadav highlighted the importance of truth and responsible reporting. He said digital media thrives on public trust and credibility rather than promotion by individuals or governments.
“If a media organisation presents truthful and well-researched news, it will naturally gain wider reach and support from the public. The more digital media works with truth and facts, the greater the trust and support it will earn from the public” he said. Yadav also stressed that news created without proper effort or verification may generate temporary attention but ultimately damages the reputation of a media outlet.
