Lucknow: A major administrative reshuffle was witnessed in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday night. The government transferred 5 IAS and 4 PCS officers simultaneously, causing a flurry of activity in several districts. In this reshuffle, several officers have been given new postings along with additional charges.
These sudden transfers are being considered an important step towards strengthening the government's administrative efficiency and working style.
List of IAS Officers Transferred
According to the transfer list, Prerna Sharma has been shifted from the Horticulture and Food Processing Department and is now appointed as Special Secretary Industry and Additional Chief Executive Officer, Invest UP. Meanwhile, Rajesh Kumar's transfer to the post of Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Chitrakoot has been canceled.
Devi Prasad Pal has been shifted from the post of Deputy Secretary in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and appointed as the new Chief Development Officer of Chitrakoot. T.K. Shibu has been given the additional charge of the Horticulture and Food Processing Department along with the post of Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Commissioner branch. In addition, Devendra Kumar Singh Kushwaha has been given the additional responsibility of Director Sericulture along with Special Secretary Sericulture.

Ajay Kumar Tripathi has been appointed as Additional Municipal Commissioner of Shahjahanpur. Saurabh Kumar Pandey has been made Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) of Sambhal. Poonam Nigam has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Public Service Commission, Prayagraj, while Sushila has been given the responsibility of Additional Commissioner Kanpur Division.

According to administrative sources, this reshuffle has been done with the objective of making departmental work more effective, accelerating development schemes, and implementing the government's priorities on the ground.
