Fatehpur: At ;least four people died and six were seriously injured in multiple road accidents at different places in Fatehpur, reports Dynamite News corespondent.

The accidents occurred in Chandpur, Jafarganj, Bakewar and Khakhreru police station areas of the district, where uncontrolled vehicles and negligence of the drivers are considered to be the main reasons of the accidents.

First Incident: Tractor Wreaked Havoc

The first incident is from Amouli town of Chandpur police station area. An uncontrolled tractor hit three people sitting on the roadside near the vegetable market. Girdhari (60), Sushil and Jagdish Sahu (57), residents of Hamirpur, were seriously injured in the accident. All three had come to Amouli to attend a wedding ceremony.

Immediately after the accident, the local people informed the ambulance and rushed the injured to the hospital. According to doctors, Girdhari's condition remains critical and he has been admitted to the ICU. At the same time, the treatment of Sushil and Jagdish is going on.

Second Incident: Scorpio Falls Into Ditch

The second major accident took place near Manjhepur village on Fatehpur-Jehanabad road in Jafarganj police station area. In the evening, a speeding Scorpio went out of control and fell into a ditch. In this accident, cricket coach Alok Sahu (32) died on the spot.

Aman Sachan (23), Dayaram Sahu (55) and Mayank (20), who were travelling in the car, suffered serious injuries. With the help of local people, the injured were taken to the district hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The police reached the spot and took control of the situation and started investigating the incident.

Third incident: Unknown Vehicle Takes Life

An unknown vehicle hit bike rider Rajkumar (30) near the gas warehouse located on Khajuha road in Bakewar police station area. Rajkumar died on the spot in this horrific collision. According to local people, he was going to a wedding ceremony in Kanpur.

The police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. At present, the unidentified vehicle has not been identified, but the police is investigating the matter.

Fourth Incident: Motorcycle Collision

The fourth incident is from Gharwasipur village of Khakhreru police station area. Sunil Kumar (28), who was going to an invitation in Anetha village, died after being hit by a motorcycle. After the accident, local people took him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead.

Police Investigation Underway

After all four incidents, the police have sent the bodies of all the deceased for post-mortem and the treatment of the injured is going on in the district hospital. Police said that all the cases are being investigated and legal action will be taken against the culprits soon.

Questions On Road Safety

These tragic accidents that took place within a few hours in Fatehpur have raised many questions about road safety in the district. Uncontrolled vehicles, high speed and ignorance of traffic rules have put people's lives in danger. The local administration has said that strict steps will be taken regarding road safety so that such incidents can be prevented in future.
