UP: Online booking service started in UP Transport Corporation; Know full details

Bijnor: UP Transport Corporation has started online booking. Now passengers can making their journey easy by booking online from the district depot. 112 buses of Bijnor depot have been made online for online booking, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Tickets without number will be issued when the passenger books the ticket online. The information about the online ticket booking will reach the mobile of the driver-conductor passing nearby on the said route. Online reservation system has started in the buses of UP Transport Corporation on the lines of railways.

Convenience Of Passengers

Bijnor depot has 141 buses in its fleet. In which 80 buses are of corporation and 61 buses are contracted. Najibabad depot has 84 buses of corporation and 7 contracted buses. Roadways is also providing facilities to its passengers like railways. Which also includes online booking. Passengers are getting their tickets issued from various depots themselves. On online booking, online tickets are issued to the passengers without bus number. On booking the ticket, a message is sent to the mobile of the driver-conductor who is near the passenger on that route. On online booking, the conductor will also provide the ticket to the passenger.

Online Ticket Booking

ARM Ashok Kumar said that passengers can book online tickets for their journey from UPSRTC. This will deduct the money online. On booking the online ticket, the passenger will get the time, name of the conductor and mobile number etc. If the bus is not available on time, an alternative will be provided or the money will be refunded.

Booking For Delhi, Lucknow and Gorakhpur

After the start of online booking, 15-20 passengers are travelling from Bijnor depot to Delhi Kotdwar on online booking. Apart from this, 4-5 online bookings are being received daily from Bijnor to Lucknow and Bijnor to Gorakhpur. Which is likely to increase in the coming time.

112 Buses Have Been Made Online

About 112 buses of Bijnor depot have been made online. Online booking is going on Delhi-Kotdwar, Lucknow and Gorakhpur route. Action will be taken if negligence of driver-conductor is found in online booking said, Ashok Kumar, ARM Bijnor Depot.
