UP: Over 25 lakhs appearing for UPSSSC PET exam across state

The exam is being held in four shifts over two days 6 and 7 September with tight security arrangements.

Kanpur: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 began on Saturday at 1479 centres in 48 districts. Over 25 lakhs candidates are appearing in this exam, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The exam is being held in four shifts over two days 6 and 7 September with tight security arrangements.

Kanpur: Biggest Centre

Nearly 40000 aspirants are appearing at 22 centres in Kanpur district. The candidates had to undergo biometric verification before entering the halls. At the same time authorities have imposed a complete ban on electronic devices during examination.
