Deoria: In a major reshuffle in the Police department in Deoria, Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Suman has transferred as many as 22 officials including 16 sub-inspectors and 6 Policemen. The newly appointed CO Satyendra Kumar Rai has been given the responsibility of the traffic department, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

CO Satyendra Kumar Rai is the most prominent name on the transfer list. He has been appointed in-charge of the CO's office traffic department. This responsibility has been given to him with the aim of further strengthening the traffic system and controlling the increasing traffic pressure in the city. According to sources, the Superintendent of Police (SP) has assigned this responsibility to Rai due to his work ethic and disciplined attitude.

On the orders of Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Suman, a major reshuffle has been made in the areas of jurisdiction of 16 Sub-Inspectors. These officers include several such officers who had been posted in the same police station area for a long time. Some Sub-Inspectors posted in the police lines have now been assigned to police stations to increase their field experience and surveillance.
