UP: Reelers’ havoc in Fatehpur; Youth beaten over protest against obscene reels, 4 held

Fatehpur: The reelers are creating havoc by making obscene reels particularly in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Park here in Fatehpur, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

On Sunday late evening, some reelers were making videos wearing obscene clothes in front of some women and children who had come to the park for a walk. When a young man Ashish Tiwari, who lives near the park, protested against these videos, the reelers scolded and abused him.

Youth Dragged And Beaten

They called their eunuch companions and started dragging the young man from the park and threw him on the road. They started showering kicks and punches on him. The fight did not stop even after the crowd gathered and the accused threatened to kill the youth.

As the information of the incident was received, the Police reached the spot and arrested four eunuchs. The injured youth has been admitted to the district hospital, where his treatment is going on.

A Resident Version

Rohit Singh Gaur, a resident of the locality, demanded strict action from the administration and said that the park was built for walking and a peaceful environment, but now some anti-social elements are creating an atmosphere of insecurity for women and girls by making obscene videos here.

Police Investigation

Rohit said that if the administration does not take action, then the people of the locality will be forced to teach them a lesson themselves. The police have started investigating the case and on the basis of video footage, the search for other accused is also on.
