

A heated argument was witnessed between a policeman and a BJP leader during CM Yogi’s public meeting in Azamgarh, UP, which created an atmosphere of chaos.

Azamgarh: During the public meeting of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, there was chaos when a fierce clash broke out between a policeman and a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader. The incident took place in Kerma village of the Sathiyawan development block of the district, where CM Yogi had arrived to address a large public meeting.
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, tight security arrangements were made at the public meeting venue. The police force was deployed at various places by the administration to avoid any chaos in the program. In this sequence, a policeman tried to stop a BJP leader from going towards a particular part of the venue. This restriction did not go down well with the BJP leader, and he started arguing with the policeman. Gradually the argument became so intense that it lead to a heated argument between the two sides.

According to eyewitnesses, the dispute escalated so much that other police officers present there had to intervene. The officials pacified both the parties by convincing them, and the BJP leader was allowed to go to the workers gallery. During this, there was an atmosphere of tension at the meeting place for some time, and people got confused.
Officers jumped to the rescue
However, the situation was controlled in time, and the program of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath continued as per the scheduled time. In his speech, CM Yogi highlighted the development works of Azamgarh, law and order, and the achievements of the state government and appealed to the public to support the BJP in the upcoming elections.
Chaos in the public meeting
Discussions have intensified among the local people and political workers regarding this unexpected incident. Some people are considering it as a result of strict security arrangements, while some believe that BJP leaders expect special exemption at the venue, which sometimes leads to conflict with the administrative arrangements.
At present, the police administration has described this incident as normal and said that there was no lapse in the security of the public meeting. The public meeting concluded peacefully.
