Uttar Pradesh: DM inspects under-construction tourist projects in Kaushambi; Orders timely completion

Kaushambi: District Magistrate Dr Amit Pal inspected the under-construction gate complex, tourist facilitation center, and Buddhist theme park on Wednesday in Kosam Inam Uparhar village, Kaushambi, to review the progress of ongoing construction work.

Displeasure over delays
During the inspection, the DM expressed displeasure upon finding no construction activity at the site and the absence of laborers and contractor personnel. Officials reported that the laborers had not arrived due to the Makar Sankranti festival.

Dr Pal immediately contacted the Tourism Officer and Assistant Engineer of UPCCL over the phone to inquire about progress and emphasized that construction work must be completed on time and with quality.

He also inquired about the action taken against the contractor for delays and directed that appropriate measures be implemented.
