Lucknow: The hot summer weather is causing problems for people in Uttar Pradesh. The recent rain has lowered the temperatures a bit. According to the weather department, there could be light rain and thunderstorms in some parts of western UP on July 22.

A similar situation might also happen in some parts of eastern UP. However, a thunder and lightning warning has been issued for western UP, but not for eastern UP.

Temperature In Districts

Prayagraj had the highest temperature at 37.2 degrees Celsius. Other places like Kanpur rural also had 37.2 C, Ballia had 37 degrees C, Kanpur city had 36.3 C, Gorakhpur had 36.1 C, Varanasi had 35.8 C, and Hamirpur had 35.6 C. In Lucknow, the maximum temperature was 34.8 C, and the minimum was 28 C.

The minimum temperatures were 25.8 C in Etawah, 26.5 C in Hardoi, 26.2 C in Kanpur city, 27. 5 C in Ballia, 27. 6 C in Bahraich, 27 C in Sultanpur, 28 C in Prayagraj and Basti, 28 C in Ghazipur, 28. 2 C in Hamirpur, and 28.8 C in Fatehgarh.

Light rain is expected in many areas on Wednesday.

Rain In Delhi

The sky remained cloudy in the national capital on Monday evening and it rain lashed in several areas including Ridge and Pragati Maidan. The IMD has predicted generally cloudy sky and light rain in Delhi on Tuesday.

During this time the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 32 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively. On Monday, the minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius at Safdarjung base station, while the maximum temperature was 33.6 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in Delhi in the morning was 83 percent, which is quite high.
