Aligarh Encounter: Police crack down on robbery duo in dramatic shootout; Watch video

Aligarh: In a dramatic encounter in the Khair area of Aligarh district, Uttar Pradesh, police confronted two armed criminals traveling in a car. Both suspects were seriously injured in the clash, but thanks to the police’s prompt action, no innocent person was harmed. The police team reached the site, surrounded the criminals, and after shooting them in the legs, managed to bring them under control.

The police recovered Rs 74,000 in cash along with gold and silver jewellery from the criminals. According to officials, the cash and jewelry were linked to recent robbery and theft incidents. The arrested suspects had carried out robberies and thefts on November 23 and 26 in the Khair and Pisawa police station areas.

The Aligarh police successfully apprehended the two criminals while uncovering details of the robberies and thefts.

Security has been increased in the area, and investigations are ongoing. The encounter occurred at night, and authorities have called it a major success, as the criminals were captured without causing harm to any other individuals.
