Tension prevailed outside the camp of Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati in Prayagraj after alleged unruly elements attempted to forcibly enter the premises on Sunday evening. Camp authorities claimed slogans were raised and a brief scuffle occurred with volunteers.

Prayagraj: A tense situation erupted outside Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati's camp, located on the northern side of Triveni Marg, Sector 4, Prayagraj, on Sunday evening. In a complaint to the Kalpvasi police station chief, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati stated that his camp, the devotees staying there, and his property were threatened.
According to the complaint, some anti-social elements arrived outside the camp between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. with sticks and saffron flags. It is alleged that some youths tried to forcibly enter the camp and began creating a ruckus. Seeing the situation escalate, a scuffle broke out between the camp's volunteers and the rioters. The volunteers managed to remove the rioters.
Camp organizers say that objectionable slogans were raised during the incident, and the entire incident was recorded on CCTV cameras installed at the camp. The incident created panic among the devotees present at the camp.
Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has warned that if such elements enter the camp again, serious mischief may occur. He has filed an FIR and demanded adequate police deployment in and around the camp premises. This complaint was filed by camp administrator Pankaj Pandey.
