Prayagraj: Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav attended the Vision India (PDA) programme in Prayagraj, where a large crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the party leader.

Addressing the gathering, Akhilesh Yadav raised concerns over the condition of the education system and alleged that the government’s policies were harming the future of students and the country’s development.

Akhilesh Yadav said that schools often follow one syllabus while examination papers contain different questions, creating difficulties for students. He attributed the situation to the government’s negligence and lack of proper planning.

He stated, “When the education and examination system of a country collapses, the future of the youth and the development of the nation are affected.”

Government Intentionally Weakening Education System: Akhilesh

During the Vision India (PDA) programme, the SP chief alleged that the current government is deliberately weakening education from KG to PG level.

He claimed that thousands of private schools are being shut down in the name of mergers and added that universities are increasingly becoming victims of narrow political influence.

Akhilesh Yadav emphasized that a strong education system is essential for empowering youth and ensuring the country’s progress.

BJP deliberately seeks to expand contractual hiring

Speaking at the 'Vision India (PDA)' event, SP National President Akhilesh Yadav stated that a key reason behind the BJP not providing regular jobs is the intent to undermine the reservation rights of the PDA (Pichda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) communities through contractual employment. When jobs are contractual, there is no obligation to provide reservation to people from these sections; hence, the BJP deliberately seeks to expand contractual hiring. In essence, a regular job entails the mandatory provision of reservation in accordance with the rules.
