New Delhi: Nineteen-year-old Devansh Thakur, son of renowned spiritual preacher Devkinandan Thakur, has made his public debut as a Bhagwat Katha narrator, triggering widespread discussion on social media over whether his rise represents a continuation of spiritual legacy or an example of nepotism.
Devansh delivered his first public Shrimad Bhagwat Katha during a religious event in Somnath, Gujarat. Videos from the event quickly went viral, drawing praise from many viewers for his confidence, stage presence, and command over Sanskrit scriptures.
During his discourse, Devansh narrated episodes from the Gokarna and Prahlad stories, spoke about the teachings of Lord Krishna, recited Sanskrit shlokas, and presented devotional bhajans. Several social media users appreciated his calm delivery and preparation despite his young age.
