New Delhi: AAP MP Raghav Chadha on Friday broke his silence for the first time after being removed from the post of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha by his party Aam Aadmi Party. He stated that whenever he had the opportunity to speak in Parliament, he always raised issues concerning the common people. He questioned whether it was a crime to speak on public issues.

Raghav Chadha stated that he raised issues such as inflation, expensive airport food, problems faced by delivery riders, toll plazas, bank charges, and taxes on the middle class in Parliament. He stated that all these issues directly concern the common man and that it is his duty to raise them.

He also stated that the Aam Aadmi Party has written a letter to the Rajya Sabha Secretariat demanding a ban on his speaking, which is a shocking move. Chadha questioned why attempts are being made to suppress his voice.

Finally, he thanked his supporters and stated that the love and support of the people are his strength. He warned, “Don't mistake my silence for my defeat”.
