New Delhi: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has announced that she is joining the ongoing Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra. Sharing a video message with her followers, the actress urged people to walk together for the cause of religion and unity. The padyatra, which began on November 7 and will continue until November 16, is being guided by Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar, Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri.
In her message, Shilpa Shetty said, “We Sanatanis always try to follow the path of Dharma, but walking for Dharma is just as important as walking on its path. From November 7 to 16, the Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra is being held under the guidance of Pujya Shri Dhirendra Shashtri ji. I will be joining, and I invite everyone to come along and take a few steps for Dharma.” She ended her message with the Sanskrit phrase ‘Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah’ meaning, “Those who protect Dharma are protected by it.”
The Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra is led by Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, head of the Bageshwar Dham Peeth. The spiritual leader addressed thousands of followers in Delhi, emphasizing the importance of unity among Sanatan Hindus. He stated that the padyatra represents not only religious devotion but also a collective commitment toward strengthening Hindu identity and values in modern India.
