New Delhi: The Central Government has formed a delegation of BJP and opposition MPs to expose terrorism and Pakistan, they will visit various countries to expose Pakistan. The Modi Government has included Shashi Tharoor's name in this team, after that Congress is getting furious.
Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh posted that the Congress had given the names of its four leaders to the government for the delegation. In this list Shashi Tharoor's name was not included. List includes the name of Anand Sharma, Gaurav Gogoi, Dr Syed Naseer Hussain, and Raja Brar.
The country's veteran journalist Manoj Tibrewal Aakash, while analyzing this in his special show "The MTA Speaks", said that recently through 'Operation Sindoor', India has broken the back of terrorists and their masters hiding in Pakistan. During this operation, the Indian Army taught Pakistan a befitting lesson. After 'Operation Sindoor', India is continuously take action to teach a lesson to terrorists.
The Central Government has made a new strategy to expose terrorists and Pakistan. In this, not only BJP MPs, but MPs of opposition parties have also been given a big responsibility. All these MPs will go to different countries and expose Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
In fact, India is now going to start a big diplomatic campaign regarding Pakistan's terrorism. Under this, a team of MPs from various political parties will visit major countries around the world. Kerala Congress has expressed happiness over this news and has greatly appreciated the decision of the central government.
After the decision of the Modi government, Kerala Congress wrote on X, 'When the credibility of Prime Minister Modi and his Foreign Minister has decreased at the international level, then the country needs a voice that is respected. We express our gratitude to the government that understanding the lack of talent within the BJP, they chose a Congress leader to represent the country. At the same time, it is further written in this post that they are confident that Shashi Tharoor will strongly present India's side on the international platform and correct the mistakes of the Modi government.
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also posted on X and wrote, I am honored by the invitation given by the Government of India to lead an all-party delegation to visit five major countries to present the country's side on recent events. When it comes to national interest and my services are needed, I will not back down. Jai Hind!
The objective of the central government is to bring the truth of Pakistan's continuous support to terrorism to the international community. In this, information will also be given about Operation Sindoor, which was recently started by India. According to sources, the tour of the MPs involved in this campaign will start from May 23 and will last for 10 days. They will visit countries like America, Britain, UAE, Japan, South Africa. In the context of Operation Sindoor and India's continued fight against cross-border terrorism, seven all-party delegations are going to visit key partner countries including members of the United Nations Security Council later this month, in which these members of Parliament will lead seven delegations.
Shashi Tharoor's selection in the delegation has come at a delicate time for the Congress. Recently he had praised the military steps of the government. BJP leaders praised him for praising the government, but, some people in the Congress party itself are angry with him. Tharoor had said that the government acted with restraint, they targeted terrorists in Pakistan and PoK. On this, Congress leader Udit Raj asked whether Tharoor has become the spokesperson of BJP? On this issue, Shashi Tharoor had said that instead of demanding accountability from the government for the Pahalgam attack, attention should be paid to resolving the crisis.
Speaking to journalists in Thiruvananthapuram, Tharoor said that I have already made it clear that I am not the spokesperson of the party, nor am I the spokesperson of the government. If people think that I have information about something, then they ask my views. I always say that as an Indian, my views are personal.
Speaking about P Chidambaram, while speaking on the occasion of the release of the book "Contesting Democratic Deficit" by Salman Khurshid and Mrityunjay Singh Yadav, P Chidambaram said that the future of India Block is not as bright as Mrityunjay Singh Yadav has said. They think the alliance is still intact, but I am not sure". This can only be answered by Salman Khurshid, as he was part of the negotiating team for the India Block. If the alliance is completely intact, I will be very happy. But this shows that it is weak.
Congress leader Udit Raj on P Chidambaram's comment on India Alliance said, "The party has given him a lot. He and his son are MPs. He should communicate and strengthen the party. He has played a very big role. It is easy to criticise, but he can do a lot more." Interestingly, this comment of Udit Raj was not made by Salman Khurshid.
